Now why would anyone think Baseball is our life???

Hello...This is Brandon. Stacey didnt really want to have to write this post, but we must to move on with our lives. Baseball is over! I had a strong showing with the rockies but it didnt work out. Need I say more???  Dont get me wrong this is one tough thing to swallow. But, I just chewed it up and ate!!! haha Well, I think Stacey is taking things a little harder than I am or either I'm  just holding back and not letting it show. What do you think???(cause im taking it well!) I think its more of us not knowing what the future may hold. All I know it that im starting to realize that we never know what God's plans for us are until it happens. I was sitting in church this morning. This was our first time back to church since we left and I saw a little boy that was about 3 or 4 sitting in his moms lap and he had his hand raised with her. I sat and thought about that. This was what life is really about. Life is about God and loving God and family and friends. Its not all about baseball. The only thing we can do is hold on to wonderful memories and move on and trust in God's will. I'm a little sad, but also very excited about things to come. I sit and think if that is even possible. haha Well, it has to be because that is how I feel! Stacey has been so strong for so long with baseball and its time for her to let it go and just be that loving wife that I married and that I will always love. She is something special. It has been a long road...I was drafted way back in 2003 from high school and that was like my 8 years of college, but without class of course! I'm going to go to school and move on down the narrow path that God has for us. Where this path may lead, we dont know, but we do know that we have each other and that is all we need...well, God too! You get the point...

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you hope and a future.

This is such a beautiful post! I'm sure that it is so hard on both of y'all to realize that one way of life is over and the rest is uncertain, but y'all already have a great outlook! Life certainly is about life and love and family and friends!! Praying for y'all!
