14 weeks

How Far Along: 14 weeks

Size of Babies: Still measuring the same size. Can't remember what exactly they said. {It wasn't a scheduled u/s}. I'm thinking it was 6.8 cm.

Total Weight Gain: 5 lbs. I weigh each time I see the doctor. I'm sure I've gained more tho.

Maternity Clothes: I officially can not fit into my favorite shorts anymore even with my belly band. bummer!  I will get back into them next summer. ;) {I HOPE!} Brandon and my mom have both bought me a few maternity things. I will be wearing them really soon.

Gender: We should be able to find this out at our next specialist appointment the beginning of August. We can't wait! We haven't started buying anything yet. We want to see what we're having first.

Movement: Nothing yet. I'm sure I will very soon. :)

Food Cravings: I have to make myself eat. I don't have much of an appetite. I saw the doctor last Friday just for a checkup and she told me I was dehydrated and not eating enough. I have to drink 6 bottles a water every day and should be eating 5 times a day. {I should take advantage of this eating thing!! haha} I'm trying to do better. It's sooo hard for me to drink that much water.

What I Miss: Being able to walk without getting out of breath. I have to stop and catch my breath alot.

Sleep: Still tossing and turning. Not sleeping too good. I hope this gets better.

Symptoms now: Threw up yesterday morning. It was terrible. I was in the shower. Brandon came to my rescue. Got out of the shower and made it to the toilet. I won't be eating biscuit 'n gravy anymore! I've been using the bathroom a ton!!!! Brandon and I were watching a movie last night and I literally went pee 7 or 8 times during the movie. Brandon kept saying, "Your going to the bathroom, again?" I've had a few headaches here and there. I'm definitely not a backseat passenger. I have to sit up front while riding in a car. Still hate dislike speedbumps alot!!!

Best Moment This Week: Seeing the babies. Baby A was moving a little.

What I Am Looking Forward To: Going home to see my parents this coming weekend and Toni's wedding.

Next Appointment: We see the specialist again the beginning of August. We are counting down the days!!!

I will be your guinea pig any day!

I started back to work at the Ob-Gyn office I worked at last off-season and I'm already enjoying it!! Yesterday they wanted to try out a new machine and they asked me to be their guinea pig. Of couse I said yes! I was sooo thrilled to see the babies. We finally got some good pictures of baby A.
Below: Baby A with it's hand beside it's face {posing already!! haha}
 Here is another picture of baby A. The hand is still beside the face on this one too.
 Baby B just hanging out!
 Baby B is on the left...sitting up right and Baby A is on the right with it's head at the bottom with it's butt facing us. Baby A is flipped upside down. This made me happy. Last u/s baby A slept the whole time and didn't move much. This time baby B moved it's arms and legs; baby A moved it's arms just a little. Seeing baby A flipped upside down let me know it is moving around. haha
 Baby B's heartbeat
and Baby A's heartbeat. That 'lil stinker is still flipped upside down.
I was sooo excited yesterday because I got a F.R.E.E. ultrasound.
About an hour later....2 others girls caught me in the hallway and wanted to try out another u/s machine. This machine was handheld and looked alot like an Ipod. {Man...the things they come up with!} So...I got to see the 'lil squirts again! By this time....baby A was head up. I couldn't believe it had already flipped again.
**
P.S. I made sure it was ok to have these extra ultrasounds done and they said it was fine.
**
ohhh yeah...I found out some reallyyyy exciting news today but I can't tell just yet!!!
I promised!!
{No, there's not 3 babies....lol...even though I seem to wonder. haha}

13 weeks

How Far Along: 13 weeks

Size of Babies: We went and got ultrasounds done last week and their running about the same size. One measured at 5.8 cm and the other was 6 cm.

Total Weight Gain:  Weighed at the doctor's office last week and I've gained 5 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Haven't started wearing maternity clothes. However, I'm pretty sure I skipped the "in-between" stage. Brandon bought me a belly sleeve which I absolutely love. I'm still able to wear my clothes. I've been wearing alot of dresses.

Gender: We will know in a few weeks. Can't wait!! I think one's a boy and the other is a girl.

Movement: Haven't felt any movement yet.

Food Cravings: I'm really not craving anything yet. However, Brandon and I have both been wanting Olive Garden for a few weeks now so we went tonight and splurged. :) {Sorry Hailey Hoop we went without you!}

What I Miss: Sleeping on my tummy and sweeettt teaaa!!

Sleep: About the same. Still getting up twice during the night using the bathroom.

Symptoms now: Things are starting to taste better {thank God}. I've had a few headaches here lately. Threw up the next day after the last post when I told ya'll I wasn't throwing up anymore....{what do ya know!} Brandon still has to drive slow b/c it makes me feel sick! I can't stand SPEED BUMPS {they really do me in!} Still don't like the smell of bacon. I have a hard time bending over but I was able to paint my toes the other night. I get out of breath really easy...other than that...I've been feeling great! haha

Best Moment This Week: I got my old job back working at the Ob-Gyn office. I worked there last off-season when we got back from baseball. It's actually the place where I go to the doctor too.

What I Am Looking Forward To: Getting a paycheck!!!! haha

Next Appointment: We see the regular doctor on Friday and the specialist again the beginning of August.

This little guy was hanging out in the tree while we were taking bump pictures.

Yarbrough babies poll

I did a poll on the right side of our blog so ya'll could cast your vote on what you think the Yarbrough babies are. I'm curious to see what everyone thinks.

{For some odd reason when I typed the question, it shows up twice....if any of my blog friends know how to fix it....hook this sista' up!} :)

Thanks Mom & Dad

My mom always said when I got pregnant she was going to get me this willow tree.
I love it! It looks so pretty sitting on our mantel.
Our 'lil rugrats will be sporting these too. {Might have to do it when daddy's not around tho! lol} I've tried to be fair...I told him the twins could have one Duke thing. You won't believe what he said his one thing was going to be!!!!! He wants to do their whole nursery Duke themed.
{IS HE CRAZY?!?!?!?! HE HAS LOST HIS MIND!!!!}
Aren't they adorable?!
**
Thanks Mom & Dad for everything! You guys are the B-E-S-T! I'm so glad ya'll were able to come down for the ultrasound. Can't wait for the next one! :)'

Twice as much to love, two blessings from above

The Yarbrough babies 12 week ultrasound pictures
Our Little Stinkers......
When they started the ultrasound, both babies were asleep. At this appointment they usually determine which baby is baby A and which is baby B. Baby A is usually the baby closest to the cervix. However, {in my case} the babies were even. One wasn't lower than the other. The girl doing the u/s kept looking trying to determine which might be which and finally picked which one was going to be baby A and baby B.

It didn't take long for Baby B to wake up. Baby B was bouncing up and down....moving it's little legs all over the place. It was sooo cute. We couldn't believe how much it was moving around. Baby A moved around a little. It slept most of the time during the u/s. {It was being lazy!} I told my parents and Brandon....it seems already like Baby B is like me...all over the place and Baby A is calm and laid back just like Brandon.

The doctor came in during the u/s and saw how close they were measuring in size and he said it was too soon to determine which baby was A and which one was B. So after this u/s....they may just get renamed since the doctor said one wasn't any closer to the cervix than the other....but for right now....I'm going based on what the tech said.

Here's twin A waving. haha
Here's the 2 Yarbrough babies.
Twin B on the left stretched out. Twin A on the right curled up.
Face of Twin B
Twin B saying hi!
Heart beat of Twin B
Heart beat of Twin A
Unfortunately, baby A didn't move around too much so they were unable to get pictures of that baby. Hopefully next time that baby will be moving around all over the place too. :)

So anyone wanna guess what we're having? I'm curious to see what people guess.
{We'll know in about 4 weeks. We CAN NOT wait!!!!!}

12 weeks

I've always waited for this day! I can't wait to be a mommy to 2 beautiful babies!

How Far Along: 12 weeks......yay....I survived the 1st trimester!!

Size of Babies: We went and got ultrasounds done yesterday and their running about the same size. One measured at 5.8 cm and the other was 6 cm.

Total Weight Gain: Maybe we shouldn't even go there...but I am pregnant so I'll tell...haha. Based on the scale at the doctors, 5 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Haven't started wearing maternity clothes. However, I'm pretty sure I skipped the "in-between" stage. Brandon bought me a belly sleeve which I absolutely love. I'm still able to wear my clothes. I've been wearing alot of dresses.

Gender: The specialist we saw yesterday told us next time we come in to see him he should be able to tell. That appointment is in 4 weeks. We can't wait to find out!

Movement: Nothing yet; however, baby B was jumping up and down all over yesterday.

Food Cravings: I haven't started craving anything yet. I did want arroz con pollo from the Mexican restaurant the other night but had to eat it without the cheese. :( bummer!

What I Miss: Being able to get my hair done!!! Thankfully I can get it done very soon and I'm going to be one happy girl! Toni -- I want feathers!!!! Can I be your guinea pig? and most of all.....SWEET TEA!!

Sleep: My sleep isn't that great. I usually get up once or twice during the night to use the bathroom. I toss and turn alot. I absolutely LOVE sleeping on my stomach and have had to adjust to sleeping on my side and back. My mom and dad bought me a pregnany pillow and that has helped somewhat. It's been very hard for me to fall asleep. I have the best husband in the world that plays with my hair every night to get me to sleep.

Symptoms in the beginning: In the beginning up to here recently....vomiting....dryheaving. I've had a few headaches but not bad. Nothing tastes good. Can't hold food down. Sensitive....very sensitive to smells (especially bacon! -yuck!) Lower backaches. Indigestion....Brandon has to beat me on the back to burp. haha Doctor put me on Zofran and that's messed me up going to the bathroom. I have to take stool softener and fiber gummies everyday. That's helped me tremendously.

Symptoms now: Not vomiting anymore. Dryheaving here and there. So much better than what I was. Food is starting to taste better. Still sensitive to smells. Still taking Zofran, fiber gummies, prenatal gummies and now the doctor has put me on more vitamins since there's 2. Oh yeah...I cry over the funniest things. We went out to dinner the other night with alot of my family and my cousin, Hailey looked over at me across the table....she started laughing at me asking "Stacey, are you crying? Why are you crying?" There was a group of people sitting right near us and they had surprized a guy and he was really emotional. I sat there watching him and it made me cry. haha :) It's called hormones! lol. (I know I know...you're probably laughing at me right now.)

Best Moment This Week: My parents coming down and seeing the babies yesterday!!

What I Am Looking Forward To: Getting some rest and spending time with my husband. :)

Next Appointment: We go back to see the regular doctor next week. We see the specialist again in 4 weeks.

11 weeks

Thank God I have been feeling sooooo much better.
I've upped my nausea medicine to twice a day and it has helped me tremendously!
Brandon and my lil' cousins, Jazz & Hailey found something this past weekend that has saved me life......
Colgate KIDS toothpaste!!!!!
Love it!! I no longer dryheave when I brush my teeth! {Well, at least I haven't yet!} :)
I feel like such a kid....all the vitamins I take now are gummies.
I can't get pills down anymore from being sooo sick.
**
My mom, aunt and my 2 cousins rode down this past weekend and stayed a few nights with us. While they were here, we drove down to Myrtle Beach and saw Kutless in concert {for free....which makes it even better!!!}
Brandon's FAVORITE band everrrr!!! This was our 2nd time seeing them in concert. They're awesome.

Nanny & her girls

 Brandon, me & Hoops

On the way home....Hailey wanted Krispy Kreme doughnuts really bad. We did find one....but it was packed out. The drive-thru line wrapped around the whole building and the line inside was crazy. It wrapped around twice. I insisted on us staying 'cuz she wanted it sooo bad. Brandon, Jazz & I drove thru the drive-thru while mom, Nanny & Hailey went and stood in the line inside. {Betcha' can't guess who got to order first.....haha --
me, Brandon & Jazz!!}
Hailey was one happy little girl! :)
We had an awesome weekend! I hated for them to leave.
{Well, Miss Hailey bug stayed with us....she's here all week!!!!}

10 weeks

This post is a little late...but better late than never, right??? :)
I'm actually 10 weeks and 5 days today.
The past couple days I have been sick, sick, sick!! {Hence...the workout clothes. I never dress like this.} haha I threw up 3 times yesterday and it just wasn't one of my best days. I was able to get ready and go to our small group last night which was nice. It felt good to get out of the house and see our friends. I have been feeling pretty good other than that. Please continue to pray for me that I feel better. I appreciate all the prayers. :) Also...I've been thinking...someone needs to invent something for pregnant women so they don't have to brush their teeth. I'm sure all the pregnant women out there would agree with me. I dryheave every single time I brush my teeth. I dread it everyday. My mom told me try standing up straight and not bending over. I've tried that and it helps a little bit. It's gonna get better...I know. ;) It's all it!
**
Small group was great last night! We always have sooo much fun with them.
I'm glad I was able to go...especially because Jane made a cake just for the babies
{and they loved it!!!! lol! -- Thanks Jane!}
How amazing does that look?!?!?!
{thought I would throw in a few more food pics!}
Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July weekend! :)
