S'getti, anyone?

Brayden and Bailey had spaghetti the other day for the first time and loved it.
At first, I was feeding them and then I decided to let them feed themselves. I tried to teach them how to suck it in their mouths, but they were too busy stuffing their faces.

What a mess we had.
We had spaghetti e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e.

 I could tell Bailey was stuffed. She kept playing with it and getting it all in her hair. Brayden seemed really relaxed lying back in his chair so I quickly gave Bailey a bath and came back to Brayden like this. lol
I hated to wake him up, but that boy needed a bath!! lol
I'd say our children like s'getti!! :0)

Hometown visit

Last week, me and the babies took a short trip to my parent's house. Brandon wasn't able to go due to work, so I made the 2 1/2 hour trip by myself. I still can't believe I did it and survived. What a brave mama I am. ;) {I just had to brag for a second....all you mother of multiples out there...you understand!! lol}

I didn't take any pictures, except for the 2 below. Little Braxton wasn't feeling good and I held him and he fell asleep in my arms. We love this little boy and we are always happy to see him.

While we were in my hometown, we also got to visit alot of people that had not yet met the babies. We had a great time seeing everyone and can't wait to see them again.

Beach w/ Nonnie & Grand-daddy

A couple weekends ago, we rode down to Myrtle and stayed the night with Brandon's parents,
sister, brother-in-law and our nephew.
This was Brayden and Bailey's first time swimming in a 'real' pool.
Bailey's bathing suit didn't fit her from last year so at the last minute we rode and got Bailey a new bathing suit. When we went to put it on her, that one didn't fit either....
so, little miss priss had to wear her crab pj's. :)'

Bailey loved the water. Brayden not so much.
 Bailey wanted us to let go of her so she could go on her own.
 Brayden wouldn't let go. We even put Collin's float around him. He didn't care for that either.

 It didn't take long for this little boy to fall out.

 Bailey was tired, but wouldn't give it up.
 As soon as we got in the car to go to dinner, she was out.
That night, we got our first snow.
{It was crazy to see it snowing at the beach.}
 This was Brayden and Bailey's first time seeing snow.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a picture of them while it was snowing.
That next morning we got ready, made a few stops and headed home.

Ice Ice Baby - Video

Last night we made a quick run to Wal-Mart just to grab a few things. While we were walking down the aisles, I was crunching on some left over ice. {I'm like my dad. I love that small crunchy ice!} I gave Bailey a few pieces while we were walking around the store but I ate majority of it. When I got done, Bailey reached for my cup. Little did I know she had been watching me the whole time while I was eating the ice and she decided she wanted to copy mommy. Brandon looked over at her and said "don't let her spill that" and I replied, "Brandon, it's empty." lol

Is that not the cutest thing ever?! :)'
The people behind us were even laughing!!

Baby Braxton

Did your mama teach you how to fly the bird?
{My cousin's little boy. How funny is this picture?! He did this on his own.}
I'm gonna have to ask God for forgiveness for putting all these Rated R pictures on here. ;) lol

Go Heels!

This is what our nights are like - Video

Brandon and I love to just sit and watch these two play together. It's the cutest thing. They love teasing each other. Brayden knows Bailey carries 'her blankie' everywhere so his new thing lately is snatching her blankie and getting away as fast as he can. Last night, they had a little tug-a-war going on. {Now, don't get me wrong...Bailey teases Brayden too.} Here's a little video clip of our little munchkins last night before bed.

{my heart}

I took this picture of Bailey today.
When Brayden and Bailey see us on the computer, they want to be on there too.
They a-l-w-a-y-s reach their little hands over and try to press keys.
They've even pulled the laptop down. lol
Brandon sent me this picture today while they were out and about. Brandon said he told Brayden "let's send a picture to Mommy" and this was his reaction. I can only imagine what he was trying to say.
I love these sweet faces. They {Brandon & Bebo, too} truly are my heart. :)'

You Are I Am - MercyMe

For some reason God laid it on my heart to put this song on our blog.
Enjoy! :)'

Brayden walking - Video

I realized I never posted a video of Brayden walking so I thought I would share this one.
I recorded this a couple weekends ago while we were at Chuck E Cheese. :)'

Brayden & Bailey are 12 Months Old! (December post)

{I've been meaning to post this. I had the problem uploading pictures to our blog and then I just kept putting it off. Shame on me. I usually don't procrastinate.}
--Brayden and Bailey are now 13 months...I didn't want ya'll to think I couldn't count; however, sometimes I wonder. ;)--

Ya'll are O-N-E!!!!!!
Where did the time go?!

Bailey Bug - Our little princess. You my dear are O-N-E year old. I can't believe it. I have no idea where the time has gone but I've enjoyed every second of it. This has not been a easy year for mommy & daddy, but I think we have adjusted just fine. You and Brayden have kept us very busy and we wouldn't trade it for anything in this world. You are a sweet little girl {but you do have your moments....but what girl doesn't?!} You are still growing like a weed. You are in 12 month clothes and still wearing size 4 diapers. Your hair is still the same dirty-blonde with curls. They are gorgeous! Your eyes are still a b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l. blue. You have 4 top teeth and 2 bottom. You have such the sweetest smile. You and your brother are both really heavy but I can still manage to get both of you out of your cribs and carry you at the same time. :) We'll see how long that lasts. haha You are still a good sleeper. You are on the same sleeping schedule as last month...still taking a morning and afternoon nap. You have to have your pink blankie....or one just like it. You have gotten where you carry that thing around with you at all times when we're at home. You very seldom lay it down and if you do, it won't take long for you to realize and it's back in your arms. You are an extremely good eater. You like everything! The only thing I think we have given you and you sorta turned your nose up to it was ketchup...actually Gam-me gave it to you. You didn't seem to like it but I'm sure that will change. You are learning new words and you are such a little talker. You still say "David" {my dad's name}....you can say "Bebo" and you have said "one" and held one finger up. You are sooo smart. Your new favorite thing to do is look at books. You love books. If I ask you to show me 'the dog' in one of your books...you turn right to 'the dog.' I am proud to also say that you and Brayden both no longer take the paci or bottle. Ya'll stopped sucking the paci on your own. After that, we started giving you your sippy cups more. We transitioned you to the sippy cup within 2 weeks and the bottle was totally gone. You can think Gam-me for that. She helped us. You have no idea how easier our lives have been. I am sooo thankful you and Brayden did well coming off the bottle. I am one proud Mama!! This month we celebrated your first birthday. We had your party in your daddy's hometown that way all of our family would be able to come to celebrate. We had a great turnout and you got lots of toys. We also celebrated Christmas. We stayed Christmas eve night at Gam-me and David Papa's house. We had a big breakfast Christmas morning and then opened presents. You and Brayden both got tons of stuff. Later that day, we went to Nonnie & Grand-daddy's house...where you got more toys. You two are truly blessed with good grandparents. Christmas was fun with ya'll this year. It was a little different than last year. Last year, you were just born and everything seemed a little crazy. This year....ya'll were into everything {taking ornaments off the tree, shredding tissue paper and wrapping paper...} It's still hard for me to believe that ya'll are already one. Time just flies by way too fast. I've had so much fun with ya'll the past 12 months and can't wait to see what the next 12 months holds for ya'll. We love you sooo much Bailey Bug!!

Brayden - Our little sweet pea. You are one precious boy! Always, always, always happy!! You are also growing like a weed. You are still wearing 12 month clothes and size 4 diapers. You are long and slim just like your daddy. We are pretty sure that you have your daddy's body frame and Bailey has mine. Your hair has gotten a little darker but you can still see the tint of red. Some days it's more noticeable than others. Your eyes are still blue and you are sooo handsome. You have 4 top teeth {2 of them are still coming thru} and 2 bottom teeth. You are still sleeping thru the night. You are a champ! When I lay you down for your morning nap, you just smile. It's like you look forward you it. You have "monk monk" in your arm and just roll over and fall asleep. You have gotten where you want "monk monk" with you wherever you go. I finally managed to sneak him from you one day and washed him. You love sticking his tail in your mouth. You're one silly boy! You and your sister play so good together; however, you have gotten where you will take things from her. I knew this day would come. There were soooo many times before where she took everything from you and you just let her have it. Now, the tables have turned. You will just walk up to her and gracefully take it from her. She will whine until she gets it back. I usually tell you that she had it first and we give it back to her.  Within seconds, you usually have it back or move onto something else. You like to tease her and she likes to tease you too. Ya'll both will have something in your hand and hold it out for the other to get and as soon as one of you reach for it, you pull your hand back. Ya'll are too funny!! You are a really good eat; however, if I had to say out of you and Bailey....who would be my picky one?...I'd definitely say....YOU! You pretty much like everything we've given you but here lately after you've had a few bites...you'll stick your tongue out and say "bllaaahhh" until the food drops on your tray table. I think your taste buds are probably a little off since you've had an ear infection. Speaking of ear infection, we took you to the doctor for your 12-month checkup and they checked your ears and that's when we found out you had a right ear infection. You had showed no sign of an ear infection. I thought it was the strangest thing. They put you on antibiotic and you've done great with taking your medicine. You have truly impressed me!! ;) You are a little chatter box. You still say "David" and you can say "Bebo".....you call him "Bo." It's so sweet. You love your bouncy balls that cousins Toni & Danny gave ya'll for Christmas. That's the first thing you ALWAYS go for. You are always carrying one of them around saying "ball."  When you say "ball," you drag it out..."baaalllll." I believe that's your favorite word. lol :)' Your daddy taught you how to throw a ball and you always want it right back. You've gotten where you will try to carry both bouncy balls at the same time but their a little too big for you to carry. You have done it once tho with Mrs. Kathy's help. You are one smart boy. We can say something once and it sounds like you say it right after us. We can also show you something once and then you'll do it. Your favorite shows are still Mickey Mouse, Barney and Yo Gabba Gabba. You get sooo excited when you see one of them come on. You'll clap your hands and dance. You love music! You have grown so much this past 12 months. It's amazing that you and Bailey are only O-N-E! Your daddy and I are sooo lucky to have you and Bailey as our children. We love you sooo much punk'n and can't wait to see what the next 12 months holds for our little stinker.

*oh yeah...HOW could I forget?!?!?!?! You two are walking!!!! Ya'll are all over the place.
Bailey, you started walking before your 1st birthday party which was December 15th...so you my dear were walking before you were one. Brayden, you were walking right after your 1st birthday party. You were taking a few steps at your birthday party but right before you turned one on December 23rd, you started walking.  Two babies walking before they turned one!! Whoop whoop!! {I'm a proud mama. What can I say?! lol} Ya'll now walk like pros! No stopping ya'll now!!

Just a thought.

{Louie Giglio}

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!! :)'
