First thing that morning we headed to Southport for the 4th of July parade and festival. This is the first time we've been there for the 4th. We got there early and found us a nice spot in the shade.
We saw our governor...
and several US representatives.
The kids loved watching the little cars.
Pa hangs right with us. :)'
We celebrated my dad's birthday early.
His only request...Brandon's pig-pick'n cake.
That night we did sparklers and watched fireworks in our front yard.
