Trunk-or-Treat

Brandon and I with our 'lil black cat and baseball player.
The line at our church's trunk-or-treat was super long.
After debating about whether or not to wait, we decided to hang around.

Brandon and Bailey look like their in deep thought in this picture. lol
Brayden chewed on his pumpkin pail majority of the time...well, in-between getting candy. ;)
We tried our best to put whiskers on our 'lil black cat.
These were the best we could do. By this point, they were starting to wear off.

It didn't take long for Brayden and Bailey to learn to hold out their pails.

 Meow!!
There were so many trunks this year. I'm guessing around 100, but don't know for sure.

Bailey was so funny. At one point, she was sooo content.
{Now, if ya'll know Bailey personally, for her to be content...somethings up. lol}
We didn't realize it but she had a tootsie roll in her hand.
She had started eating it with the wrapper on.
Once we realized, we managed to occupy her with a rice krispy treat instead of chocolate. ;)

Bailey was so cute saying "trick or treat."
We said it once and she caught right on.
 This trunk was pretty cool.
They had a big screen in the back with Charlie Brown's "The Great Pumpkin" on.

As you can see, Brayden started dragging his pumpkin pail on the ground as he walked.
He kept getting more and more candy.
He was determined he wasn't letting his pumpkin go.

{Below: Video}

It was funny because some of the cars had already ran out of candy,
but Brayden still stood there holding his pail up for them to fill it up. lol

Miss Priss aka our 'lil talker.
I'm telling 'ya...this girl can talk up a storm.
As you can see she was trying to tell me something in this picture.
Brayden holding his pumpkin up with two hands. lol

We tried and tried to get Brayden to let us carry his candy.
He wasn't having that.
He took breaks instead and held up the whole line. lol
 Two-handed.

He let me carry him but still wouldn't let his pumpkin go.
My mom showed him how to hold it on his shoulder
and when it fell off, he said "ut-oh." lol
I can hear him now, "Mommmm, enough of that!!!!"
Miss Priss got into a sucker.
We hated to take it away so we gave Brayden one too.
Halloween night was the very first time our kids have
e.v.e.r. had candy and they enjoyed every second of it. haha
When we put Bailey to bed, she sat straight up with her hand holding her head up
and said "can-dee." haha It was the cutest thing.

Luckily, the candy didn't keep them up all night.
By the time we got home, we had 2 worn out kiddos.
They were up and ready to go at 6:20 the next morning.
Sleep in? Yeah right. Not happening at this house.
Maybe one day. :)'
