How Far Along: 27 weeks
{Ok so I've been slack and I'm soo behind on blogging so I'm posting about weeks 26 & 27. Nothing much has changed between these weeks although I wish I would have taken my 26th week picture. Oh Well!! Time just seems to fly by these days!}
Size of Babies: As of our last specialist appointment several weeks ago, Brayden was 1 lb. 9 oz. and Bailey was 1 lb. 8 oz. I know they have grown since then. Bless their hearts I think their fighting for real estate in there. Their constantly moving or balling their lil bodies up right in the front of my tummy.
Total Weight Gain: I haven't really kept up with my weight anymore. What woman likes to gain weight?!haha....Brandon told me the other day he couldn't imagine me being skinny anymore. If it weren't for pictures...I would never remember being that small. lol!
Maternity Clothes: I'm loving my maternity jeans. I can still fit into some clothes other than maternity. I bought a few cami's the other day and got Large. They are sooo comfortable and I'm loving them. I'm not much on maternity clothes. They're not really my style. Some are cute but I would rather wear 'normal' clothes as long as I can. Don't know how much longer I'll be able to though.
Gender: It's a boy and a girl!!! Brayden Benton Wayne Yarbrough & Bailey Marie Yarbrough
Movement: They move all the time!! They like it better when I'm lying down and stretched out. It gives them more room. When I'm up and moving around, they tend to curl up and there's usually big knots on both sides of my belly button....I think that's their butts stuck up in the air. haha Bailey is still head up and Brayden is still head down. I always tell people their like a ying-yang symbol. I tend to worry more about Brayden than I do Bailey. His head is sooo low and I would feel sooo much better if he'd turn around but I don't think that's gonna happen. I know he's fine but that's pretty much the reason why the specialist put me out of work. There's a lot of pressure on my cervix.
Food Cravings: Still not craving anything in particular....but I am loving ice-cream these days! We made a ice-cream run the other day with a group of our friends. Boy was it good! I'm eating 5 times a day. At first the doctors wanted me to eat 5 meals each day. Now, I get so uncomfortable after I eat so I'm still eating 5 times a day....3 meals and 2 snacks.
What I Miss: Sleep and Sweet Tea. I don't think this will ever change. haha
Sleep: Sleep is about the same. I'm getting up more during the night now....sometimes 3 or 4 times. I'm still trying to figure out how to get comfortable...still using 2 pillows under my head, 1 between my legs and I've started putting a pillow under my belly for support since I'm sleeping on my side. We are still sleeping on the couch and pretty sure we will be the remainder of my pregnancy. Thank God our couch is sooo comfortable and we can both fit on it. :)
Symptoms now: HEADACHES....HEADACHES....HEADACHES!! Mr. Headache likes to visit me just about everyday here lately. I think it's just sinus pressure so I've started taking tylenol. I don't like taking medicine so I only take it when my head hurts really bad. I took a Zyrtec yesterday and that seemed to help a little. I've gotten a few nose bleeds here and there but it's usually when I blow my nose. My hands have started to get a little puffy...not bad....you can barely tell. I'm starting to get alot more uncomfortable in general. It's mainly after I eat or if I've been on my feet alot. They just don't have much room and they'll move any way they can just to have more space.
What I'm looking forward to: I can not tell you how much I'm enjoying being at home everyday. I'm able to get stuff done around the house, be with Brandon more and rest. When I was working it was sooo hard to work all day and then come home and straighten up. Brandon has helped me sooo much, but there's only so much he can do. Brandon only has classes 3 days a week this semester so we are able to spend more time with each other...which is great and I'm loving it. I know this will all change once the babies are born. I've been able to take naps just about everyday. I sleep for about 1 1/2 hours and it is a-m-a-z-i-n-g since I don't get much sleep at night.
I'm also looking forward to our Trunk-or-Treat our church is putting on for Halloween. Brandon and I are sooo excited about it and can't wait. Our small group has put alot of hard work into our trunks!!! I can't wait to show yall.

Best Moment this week: We've had several great moments here lately.
We finally decided on the babies' bedding for their cribs. They're ab-so-lute-ly a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e and we love them. I'll probably do a post on this once their room is finished. Brandon and I were able to spend alot of time with our friends from church this past weekend. We had small group on Friday....decorated for our Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday and on Sunday hung out some more. :) We also had a shower last night for the twins. It was sooo much fun. It was held at our church and our small group hosted it. I'll post pictures of it soon. Ohhh yeahh....I PASSED THE GLUCOLA TEST last week. Boy was that a prayer answered! I think the range is 60-something to 140-something {I could totally be off....} but I scored a 115. That was a big relief!
