When I left the hospital after Brayden and Bailey were born, our nurses had given us a handful of paci's that only the hospital has. Over the past 8 months....we've lost all of them except ONE! How we have managed to hang on to that one...I'll never know. Somehow we always seems to find that one squishy paci. {Did I really just ask my husband how to spell squishy and he spelled,
"B-A-I-L-E-Y"....and Brayden laughed. lol!} Anywho...
We went to the hospital today to visit one of our friend's who had her baby today. Before we left, I asked one of the nurses if we could have a few of those same paci's. I was a little hestitate to ask because I just knew they were going to tell me no. Thanks be to God, I was very fortunate....the nurse laughed and immediately went on a search for the hospital paci's. After she raided the nursery, she handed me a handful and I was one happy mama. :) That lady completely made my day! Ya'll have no idea how hard it's been to keep up with that one paci. Hopefully, we will be able to keep up with the 6 we got today. {Wishful thinking.} ;)

Would you believe the nurses in our hospital gave us NO pacis!?!? It was something about not wanting to confuse the baby bc I was attempting to breastfeed. Anyways, I was so excited to get home and get the baby a paci when she was screaming!! And now Addie is teething and won't take them...hoping it's just a phase bc she screams and there's nothing to soothe her. Glad you got some backups!
Wow! I didn't realize hospitals have these special pacis. We are going to have to be sure and ask about this when our twins make their big arrival. I've LOVED reading your blog (found you on a link up from Kelly's Korner a long time ago)...especially your posts throughout your pregnancy. They have brought me so much comfort throughout the last several months. We're coming into our final stretch here - any advice from an experienced twin mommy? :) Very cute new Fall theme - love it! Take care and God Bless you guys!
MegnHarry - I can't believe they didn't give you paci's while you were in the hospital. That's crazy! Brayden and Bailey absolutely love theirs! ESPECIALLY Brayden! I don't think he could go to sleep without it. I'm hoping it won't be hard to break them from it. I guess we'll see...in due time. :)
Leslie - I'm sooo excited you found our blog. I'm glad it's helped you thru your pregnancy. It's always good to know someone that's been thru it. When I was pregnant...and I saw someone with twins....I stopped them and asked tons of questions...and the cool thing was...they didn't mind at all and they wanted to talk and talk. :) Let me know if there's anything I can help you with...if you have any questions...you can put it on here or you can email me @ lilbooboo7777@yahoo.com That's awesome your on the final stretch. I know you are sooo ready for them to be here. GET YOUR REST NOW...that is if you can. I was sooo uncomfortable there at the end...I barely slept a wink. I was ready for them to come. I'm sure you can relate. haha
haha! get a binky clip!!!! :)
