Another shower for our sweet peas

A few weeks ago, our small group hosted a shower for Brayden & Bailey at our church.

Here are a few pictures from that shower.

The shower turned out great! Brandon & I are sooo thankful to

have such wonderful friends.

29 weeks

How Far Along: 29 weeks

Size of Babies: Brayden is 2 lbs. 11 oz. and Bailey is 2 lbs. 10 oz. They have been 1 ounce off every time.

Total Weight Gain: Saw the regular doctor last Monday and the specialist last Friday....just from Monday to Friday I had gained 4 more pounds. Get'cha some of that! haha

Maternity Clothes: I officially can't fit into my regular jeans anymore. I tried yesterday. I've been wearing leggings here lately....and their extremely comfortable {with a long shirt of course to cover my big booty!}

Gender: It's a boy and a girl!!! Brayden Benton Wayne Yarbrough & Bailey Marie Yarbrough

Movement: The babies' are still moving like crazy. Brayden is still head down and Bailey is still head up. Brayden's head is actually further down than it was several weeks ago....which scares me but the specialist said that he is fine.

Food Cravings: Same 'ol.....I'm loving it all! haha Nothing in particular.

What I Miss: Sleep and Sweet Tea. I don't think this will ever change. haha I did splurge and had a few sips of my mom's sweet tea this past weekend and boy was it good!

Sleep: Ok I'm officially to the point I want to sleep on the bathroom floor!!! I asked Brandon and my parents this past weekend if we could get one of the potty chair things and put it right beside the couch. lol!! Night before last I stayed up until 1 or 2 am. I wanted to be completely exhausted that way I would sleep good. It helped a little. I'm still sleeping with tons of pillows and I sleep best on my back {which I'm not suppose to be doing.} When I sleep on my side, I'm more comfortable on my right side which is the side that Brayden's on. Poor baby....he's already getting squished because his sister has her feet all up in his face. Most nights I wake up every couple hours. Some nights it's more. Let's just say....my sleeping hasn't gotten any better. It's just God preparing me...that's all!!! :) :)

Symptoms now: Thank GOD I stopped having those headaches. I'm still getting out of breath. I can pretty much only do one thing a day because I get so worn out. My feet are starting to swell and can't get my wedding rings on and off so the doctor told me I needed to stop wearing them. :( Brandon wants to get me a cheap ring so people know I'm taken! lol. I think it's pretty obvious.....haha. Washing dishes K.I.L.L.S. my back. When I bend over or kneel down or lift anything...I feel like I'm crushing the babies. They curl up into their little balls and make it pretty obvious their uncomfortable. I now feel HELPLESS and I can't stand it that other people have to do things for me {pause....bathroom break!} We saw the specialist this past Friday. He told me I was a boring patient because I was sooo healthy. :) Praise God! He never mentioned bedrest...which is awesome!! He measured my cervix. It is thinning but it's thinning the rate it's suppose to be.

Oh yeahhhh....and since my feet are starting to swell and I'm really suppose to be taking it easy at home.....Brandon insisted on this when we went to Wal-Mart.

I figured I better listen or I'll end up on bedrest.

 What I'm looking forward to: Finished up the babies' room. Thanks to Brandon and my parents...it's almost done!!!! YipppE!

Best Moment this week: Seeing the babies last Friday and how much they've grown; celebrating Brandon's birthday with our friends this past weekend; working on the babies' room with Brandon & my parents; taking maternity pictures {I'll post soon}; ANNDD getting my hair done and my beautician came to me. ;)

Next Appointment: We see the regular doctor next Monday and the specialist the beginning of December. Did I really just type DECEMBER?! Oh my.....Christmas will be here before we know it!

4 pounds in 4 days....WhAt?!?!

Yes you read it right!!!!

I had a doctor's appointment on Friday with the specialist and I had just seen the regular doctor that Monday...they weigh me every single time and YES I gained 4 pounds in 4 days! WHOA!!! Can we say BIG MOMMA?! lol.

Our Halloween

Each year our church hosts Trunk or Treat.

Last year we didn't participate because we had just gotten home from baseball...

so we made up for it this year and had a blast!

Brandon was Gnomeo

and I was Juliet.

 This was our "tree house" that we made to cover our trunk.

Our small group decorated 3 trunks for the Trunk or Treat.

Shane, Elaine and their boys had the Mario Bros. trunk.

Elizabeth, Sarah, Jesse & Adrian had the Disney trunk.

me, Brandon, Chad, Jeremy & little Miss Emelia had the Gnome trunk.

{Chad got busteddd eating all the candy!! haha}

Brandon thought it was sooo funny because when I sat down you couldn't see my belt.

Last year they were expecting 600 people and over 2,000 showed up.

This year we had around 5,000 people.

We are sooo thankful for the turnout we had at our Trunk or Treat.

God allowed the rain to hold off so we were able to reach 5,000 people in our community and show them the love of Christ.

God is so good!

28 weeks

How Far Along: 28 weeks

Can you believe I'm 7 months already?!?!?!

I can't.

We can't believe how fast time is flying by.

Our 'lil pumpkins will be here before we know it.

Not much has changed since last week.

I did have a regular doctor's appoinment yesterday.

They measured my tummy and it was 34 1/2 cm....

which means I'm the size of someone that is

34-35 weeks....which also means, I'M HUGE!!! lol :) 

Trust me....pictures don't do it justice. I'm alot bigger in person.

They checked the heartbeats and Bailey's heart is still pounding away a little bit faster than Brayden's.

I finally found out how much weight I've gained.

I've gained about 24 lbs. so far.

I think with twins you usually gain about 45-50 lbs. during the whole pregnancy.

They keep telling me how great I'm doing and can't believe I'm doing as well as I have.

Brandon seems to think the babies' might not come until January.

I'm still thinking around Christmas. :)

Time will tell!

My upper belly has started tingling again. It's numb. It's normal. It just means the babies are stretching me and I can tell their moving up higher. Little Bailey officially has her head right under my left boob {sorry guys that read our blog!! haha} Brayden is still trying to stretch his feet under the other one but hasn't quite reached up that far.

Oh yeahhh....have I told ya'll how much I'm enjoying this cooler weather???

I'm loving it!!!

I've waited all summer for this! :)
