Spring/Easter Pictures

{This post is a little late. I've been meaning to publish it.}
I didn't get any good pictures of Brayden & Bailey in their Easter outfits over Easter weekend due to the rain...so, a few days after...when the sun was shining I took them to the Arboretum and got a few. They're not exactly what I had in mind. I was hoping to get at least one good one of them together looking at the camera and that didn't happen.
Is that too much to ask for?! 

Um....yes, especially from 2 toddlers. lol

These will do for now. ;)

Strawberry Pickin'

Last week we took Brayden & Bailey to a local strawberry patch to pick strawberries.

We went first thing that morning before it got too hot...but the sun was still blazin' on us in that open field. This was their first time picking strawberries as well as mine. We were only expecting to fill up one bucket. We should have known better. They walked right up and grabbed themselves each a bucket right away. We had to pay based on the weight so we were thinking since they both had a bucket, we would let them fill up 1/2 of their bucket and then combine them all in one bucket instead of filling up 2. Well, that didn't happen. Brayden & Bailey had so much fun that they filled both their buckets right up and it didn't take long at all. There was no stopping our 'lil strawberry pickers.

We walked around and looked at all the colorful plants before we started picking.

And we're off to pick...

 I told Bailey to stand beside Brayden so I could take their picture...
so she stood in front of him. lol

Brandon & Brayden had their own row while Bailey & I had our own.

It didn't take long before Bailey wanted to pick with her daddy & brother.

Their buckets were pretty heavy but they still insisted on carrying them themselves.

They finally let us help them...

but they still had to have their hand on the bucket, too.

We had sooo much fun picking strawberries. I can't wait to do it again next year!!

Happy Mother's Day

Down on the farm

Last week we took Brayden & Bailey to a local farm where all the animals had been rescued. 

We stopped by hoping we would get to see some animals...little did we know we would get to go in the gate and walk around with them. One of the ladies there was gracious enough to stop what she was doing and introduced us to all the animals. 

Brayden & Bailey loved it but didn't care to touch any of the animals. Brayden kept telling us they would bite. lol Bailey ended up touching the baby lamb but that was it. 

I fell in love with January {the donkey} and Betsy {the cow} fell in love with Brandon. I kept rubbing January and she liked that. I was hesitate about petting Betsy. They said she liked males better than females so I stood back on that one. Brandon rubbed her head and she didn't want him to stop. She nudged him when he did. It was pretty funny.

Bailey's like her daddy. They'll eat just about anything.
