I'm pretty sure Bailey is going to be just like her daddy and ride all the crazy rides.

We {heart} ice-cream!!
Brayden & Bailey had ice-cream for the first time yesterday.
They've had a teeny tiny taste before but it wasn't enough to write home about.
Today, they got their own 'lil cup of vanilla....
AND, they L-O-V-E-D it!!!
{Below: Video}
{Now...don't be getting any ideas...grandparents, great-aunts and cousins.

Oh, how they sleep.
{I took these pictures a few days ago...but, Bailey actually got her leg stuck in her crib today.
I'm glad Brandon was here to help me because I tried to get her leg out by myself and couldn't.}
HoMeToWn FuN
Brandon had a couple days off so we rode to our hometowns to visit our families.
Brayden & Bailey had their 1st golf cart ride with Wilbur.
Bebo chased after them so he ended up riding too. :)'
Brayden & Bailey love going to my cousin's store and hiding in the racks.
We got to see baby Brylee & Braxton.
Bailey ended up in the back room where she pulled more toys out.
It's always nice to visit but it's always nice to get back home, too.

My newest diaper cake.
Here's a picture of the most recent diaper cake I did for a close friend.
The shower was nautical theme....so, I did the diaper cake to match.
I loved how it turned out. Brandon said this was his favorite one yet. :)'

Wonder where she learned this from?! lol

{This video was taken before she started running a fever and Brayden was still recovering. She is alot better. Her fever did end up getting up to 102 something and then 103 a few days ago but yesterday and today were better. I know she's teething so that has something to do with it. I guess she got a hold of that same virus Brayden had. Hopefully it's out of our house now and won't be coming back. I did see a few new pearly whites cutting thru. Poor baby!}
Thank ya'll so much for all the sweet comments and prayers for our
2 monkeys while they were sick.
It really means alot.

{Update}
First of all, thank ya'll so much for the prayers and sweet comments on my post about Brayden. It really means alot. I can finally say he is better. Praise God!! It took several long days to get that fever out of his system, but he hasn't been running one in the last couple days. I am so grateful that's over.
Unfortunately, Bailey has started running a fever so continue to pray for her. I'm pretty sure it's just from teething since it hasn't gone above 101. We have been keeping a close eye on her and we're hoping we'll see some new pearly whites here soon.

The day our world stood still.
{I'm gonna keep this as short as possible...it still bothers me really bad to talk about it.}
7.7.13
A week ago this past Sunday--
Brayden had a febrile seizure.
It was the worse thing I have ever experienced. I hope I never have to experience anything like this again.
His eyes rolled back in his head.
Foamed at the mouth.
Ambulance came...
I prayed out loud the whole way to the hospital as I held our little baby boy. It was the longest ride ever.
He seizured almost the whole way to the hospital.
I prayed. prayed. prayed.
I kept talking to him telling him mama was right there and Dada, sissy, Gram-me, David Papa, Mrs. Kathy and Ray {as Brayden would say "A"} were in the cars right behind us.
I sang "Jesus Loves Me" to him a couple times.
I never once stopped talking to him and God.
The guy in the back of the ambulance said he started coming around as soon as he heard my voice. He kept telling me I was doing the right thing by talking to him.
On the ride to the hospital, they came him Valium to stop the seizuring.
Right before we got to the hospital, he started coming around.
One of the first thinsg they did when we got there was check his temperature.
It was around 102 something. I can't remember the exact number.
We waited. They gave him tylenol and we kept waiting.
The doctor wanted to find out what caused his temperature to spike so fast. Come to find out he had an ear infection. We were sooo thankful to find out that it was nothing serious.
--
It has now been a week and one day. Brandon and I are still a nervous wreck. Everyone has assured us there's only a 2-5% chance of this ever happening again. Unfortunately, Brayden is still running a fever. It did break for a couple days but we still had given him motrin that morning and night {instead of alternating every 3 hours like we had been.}
He went for his ER follow-up last Thursday. They checked his ears. They were fine. I explained his fever and they didn't seem too worried.
We took him back to the walk-in clinic yesterday. Once again, his ears were fine but his throat was red. They did a swab test for strep. That came back negative. We asked for bloodwork but they said they didn't think there was a need for that. They told us it was viral...that his immune system was down and he must of picked up a little something else.
He's spit up 3 different times...3 days in a row. Didn't seem to worry us too much because it was just 'flem.' We have been alternating tylenol and motrin every 3 hours. We have been doing this since last Sunday when all this took place. His temperature has been really high at times and we don't understand how this fever is not leaving him.
Please pray for Brayden.
Pray that God will heal him whatever it may be. We continue to pray it is nothing serious. He is a little trooper. He's been playing and dancing throughout all this....even when he's running a fever. If his fever starts getting a little high, he starts to slow down. He has been sleeping well....well until I wake him up to take medicine but he's been going right back to sleep. I've been giving him cool baths which he doesn't seem to like too much, but the good thing is he's been getting more pedialyte pops. ;)
Pray for Brandon.
He's such a good daddy and has helped me stay strong; however, I could tell tonight he was bothered. Pray that God will comfort him....help him each day while he's away from us working and trust in God that he is always going to take care of us.
Pray for Bailey.
Pray that God will watch over her and keep her well. We thank God that if what Brayden has is viral that none of us have gotten it. Bailey's had a runny nose and felt a little warm at times, but I believe hers is coming from teething.
Pray for me.
I've been getting up all thru the night checking on him and Bailey. Brandon tells me...."good thing your not a nurse...you would drive your patient's crazy." lol He is exactly right. I worry too much. I couldn't be a nurse.
How could you not worry when he was perfectly fine. Woke up with a runny nose...little sluggish...wouldn't eat much that day and then all of a sudden. He felt a little warm, but not feverish. Please pray that God will comfort me also and give me the strength to stay strong and stop worrying.

We L-O-V-E watermelon!!
Brayden & Bailey L.O.V.E. watermelon...
especially Brayden.
Bailey kept trying to eat it from the other end.
Bailey is really good about sharing.
Brayden...not so much. haha
He does not want anyone touching his food and if you do, he'll yell "No no no!!"
Most of the time he'll walk off somewhere by himself so he knows that no-one will mess with him.
I believe Brayden ended up eating 3 pieces.
This was all that was left from his 1st piece.

Lemons - Videos
Maybe they'll be like their aunt Step'anie and love lemons.
They didn't seem to mind them last night.
18 month check-up
Brayden & Bailey went for their 18 month check-up yesterday.
They got 1 shot a piece and don't have to get anymore shots until their 4 {other than flu shots.}
Whoop whoop!! This makes this mama happy. :)'
Brayden weighed 29 lbs and 33 inches long.
We aren't sure how accurate his weight is since he didn't want to stay still....
but he's somewhere around 29 or 30 lbs.
Bailey weighed 29 lbs. 12 oz. and is 32.5 inches long.
Everything went good and we go back for their next check-up when their 2.
We thank God for blessing us with 2 healthy, beautiful children!!
